I have been training with Mark Hass, at On Your Mark Fitness for about a year and a half. At the age of 61 I have more energy, and feel better than I did 20 years ago! The reason I am taking time to write this note is you have literally changed my attitude about the control I have over my body and my life. I thought trainers were for professional athletes or individual= s with health issues – neither of which described me. Further, at 40, I was pretty much resigned to the way my body looked – certainly I was no Cindy Crawford, but I wasn’t embarrassed by my average build – I would have liked to tone up and not let gravity take over going forward but simply didn’t have the time (or inclination).

Well, when my very in-shape friend gave me a certificate for a training session at On Your Mark I thought, “Great, very thoughtful, but one session isn’t going to do anything and I sure won’t continue working with a trainer.” I could not have been more wrong. As expected, we reviewed my "physical" goals during my introductory session, but we also assessed my cardio ability, strength and fat composition to create benchmarks. And the trainer, Mark, was very knowledgeable AND fun to work with, his method of varying the exercises and the routines made the hour fly by – I couldn’t believe this was "working out!” Needless to say I thought it worth a few more sessions and 90 days later I could see such a difference in my body AND my attitude I was hooked.

It has been 18 months now and I’ve had a great time along the way. Mark has continued to bring new routines, different meal options and a positive way to look at my health, not by changing everything I do but by modifying a bit here and there. My 40s are looking better and better each day…Thank you, Mark, for adjusting my attitude, body and life.

Hey Mark!!

In less than six months, Mark transformed my body from a size 8 to a size 2! I am thinner, happier, and
healthier than I was in high school. I have worked with other trainers in the past but never achieved the
results that I have with Mark. He does not just give you a workout, he is able to sculpt your body,
defining the areas that are the most important to you. Mark makes my workouts fun, challenging, and he's always doing something new! I couldn't be more thrilled with my new body!


I have been training with Mark for 18 weeks now, and I have to say I was skeptical at first. I thought personal trainers were just for body builders or Hollywood stars. I had tried watching what I ate and walking, but it just didn’t seem to work.

Mark educated me about food, he didn’t just hand me a list. I learned why certain foods could or could not be eaten. If Mark noticed I was consuming too much of one food and not enough of another, he would never get onto me, he would just say “lets try and work on this.” It has helped me so much to have someone to talk to about cravings and he always had a suggestion to offer.

I see Mark three times/week and truly look forward to every session. Mark really keeps it interesting by mixing things up. Sometimes we’ll do kick boxing, sometimes circuit train, and sometimes we take a walk, but no matter what we always have fun. My body has actually become addicted to exercise!

The first 12 weeks training with Mark I lost 36 pounds, and after 18 weeks I am fast approaching 60lbs! Mark has made it a much more enjoyable experience because he cares. (most of the time he is more excited for me to step on the scale then I am myself)
